Week Calendar

Join Miss Diane for a themed storytime designed to help develop your child’s literacy skills while creating lasting memories together. Your little ones will enjoy listening to charming picture books, singing songs, and doing flannel board rhymes.

Gather the family for a fabulous story time, perfect for ages 0-5! We will sing, read, talk, and play our way through a half-hour of delightful stories, songs, and rhymes.

Join Ms. Maggie for Polish stories and enjoy crafts and games that encourage creativity. 

Intended for ages 0-6 with a caregiver.

Middle schoolers can join us on early dismissal days for some gaming fun on the library’s Nintendo Switch! 

Please note that if District 2 calls an eLearning Day this program will be canceled for that day.

Monday Mayhem is a time to kick-back, relax, and have some fun. It might be a game, a craft, a film, a project - who knows? You might even learn something. The only guarantee - it will be fun! Virtual Reality will be featured this semester.

Gather after school for a weekly high-octane, rules-light game session. Beginner, experienced, and new players welcome!

Sample some snacks from around the world! We’ll explore the flavors of a different country each month. Bring your appetite!

For grades 6-12.

ISAC representatives will lead college applicants and their parents through the process of filling out the free FAFSA application for financial aid. 

Get the family together to watch a movie on the big screen at the library. Bring your favorite snacks and enjoy.

Bring your friends and family to the library for board games fun. Use our games, cards, and puzzles or bring your own to share.

On cold winter days, you can never have too many scarves! We’ll learn how to create our own with just a piece of cloth and a pair of scissors.

Gather your friends and family to compete against other teams by answering questions about current events, music, sports, and more. The top 3 teams will win giftcards, courtesy of Ciao Isabella.

Illinois Libraries Present James McBride, an award-winning author, musician, and screenwriter.

Each month we will dive into a new theme and cookbook. Pick your own cookbook or online recipe that fits the theme, then join our discussion as we share recipes and culinary experiences.

Using a selection of printed, seasonal subjects, participants are welcome to bring their own creativity & art supplies or use the color pencils/markers supplied for these art and music enhanced relaxing, creativity sessions.

We read popular titles, bestsellers, and more! Join us for discussions virtually on Zoom. Books will be available for checkout one month before the discussion.
