Join Miss Diane for a themed storytime designed to help develop your child’s literacy skills while creating lasting memories together. We will read some charming picture books, recite some flannel board rhymes and even sing a song or two.

Join Miss Callie and Roger the friendly bear for a half-hour of stories, rhymes, and songs! Early literacy is more fun when we rhyme and sing all together.

For ages 0-5

Join Miss Callie and a Bensenville School District 2 Principal for stories, songs, and a craft on the third Saturdays of the month.

For ages 0-11

Learn about Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights. Paint and decorate your own clay diya candleholder to celebrate the triumph of light over darkness.

Combine bits and pieces of discarded toys with tape and glue to make something new. Whether your toy is cute, creepy, or just plain weird it’s bound to be special in its own unique way!

Ages 6+

Middle schoolers may join us for some gaming fun on early dismissal days. Try out the brand new Nintendo Switch 2 and play some board games! 

Gather after school for a weekly high-octane, rules-light game session. In Dungeons & Dragons, players create characters, embark on epic quests, and work together to overcome challenges using dice rolls and creative problem-solving.

Are you a teen looking for volunteer hours? Come on down and help out the library staff with some tasks every month! Fenton students may sign up for this through Mrs. Sabatino. Drop-ins are also accepted.

Make your very own bat craft at the library to celebrate the Halloween season! 

Each month, Emily selects a thought-provoking film for us to watch together at the library, followed by a group discussion. Share your insights, interpretations, and favorite scenes in a welcoming space for film lovers.

Instead of using the same old chapstick, come on down to the library and make a lip scrub!

For ages 13+

Get creative with a fun and festive pumpkin painting session! Whether you want to decorate your pumpkin like a favorite book character or make something silly or spooky, it’s a great way to celebrate the season. 

Join fellow gardening enthusiasts for a friendly gathering where we share tips, exchange ideas, and support each other in growing beautiful, thriving gardens.

Back by popular demand, Moira will guide and inspire us in creating a card and bookmark with some of her lovely autumn papers and design elements.
