Build something amazing with LEGOs after school! It’s a fun way to challenge yourself, try new designs, and relax with friends. 

For grades 6-12.

Spring is on the way, which means the rain will be coming down and the umbrellas going up! Design your own mini umbrellas and string them together to make a playful garland. All materials will be provided.

Turn old t-shirts into fun toys for your pets! We’ll provide the materials, but feel free to bring your own worn-out shirts to upcycle.

Bring your little ones, ages 0-11, to a special storytime and craft session with a Principal from District 2! Kids will enjoy stories that spark their imagination while getting to meet a local Principal.

Monday Mayhem is a time to kick-back, relax, and have some fun. It might be a game, a craft, a film, a project - who knows? You might even learn something. The only guarantee - it will be fun! Virtual Reality will be featured this semester.

Join Miss Diane for a themed storytime designed to help develop your child’s literacy skills while creating lasting memories together. Your little ones will enjoy listening to charming picture books, singing songs, and doing flannel board rhymes.

Middle schoolers can join us on early dismissal days for some gaming fun on the library’s Nintendo Switch!

Gather the family for a fabulous story time, perfect for ages 0-5! We will sing, read, talk, and play our way through a half-hour of delightful stories, songs, and rhymes.

Gather after school for a weekly high-octane, rules-light game session. In Dungeons & Dragons, players create characters, embark on epic quests, and work together to overcome challenges using dice rolls and creative problem-solving.

Did you get seeds from our Seed Library? Need something to put them in? Come on down and paint a terracotta pot! Please wear something you won’t mind getting dirty.

If you’re a teen looking for volunteer hours, join us after school to complete some different tasks. Snacks will be provided!

Learn to recognize the warning signs of various types of scams and leave with practical advice on how to safeguard your personal information from fraudulent schemes.

Meet up after school to chat over a snack. Doodle on the white board and listen to chill music to de-stress and ease into the weekend. Staff from NEDFYS will facilitate this hangout.

The Bensenville Community Public Library Board of Trustees meet on the fourth Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at the Library.
