Time Capsule Unveiling

Just like many Bensenville residents, we were really looking forward to opening the time capsule that's buried in front of the library this coming October. However, in our efforts to ensure that we contact anyone we can find who was involved when it was buried, we came across some documents that showed discrepancies in the length of time it was meant to stay in the ground. We consulted with the person who was the library's administrator at the time, and sure enough- instead of 40 years, it’s actually meant to be opened 50 years after being buried! ⁠

Looks like we will all have to practice some patience until 2034 to finally see what’s inside. We apologize for the mix-up, but we're definitely relieved we didn’t dig it up and discover the mistake afterward! (Cue: "Hello, people of 2034...")⁠
